Zhou Shengxian, MEP Minister and Executive Vice Chairperson of China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development (CCICED), met in Beijing on November 15 with Hau-Sing Tse, a member with the Council, Executive Director of African Development Bank, and the former Senior Vice President of Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). The two sides exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in the environment field. Zhou said that China is ready to further the cooperation and exchanges with Africa under the framework of CCICED and make concerted efforts for sustainable development.
