CCICED 1st CHAD-SERI Joint Working Meeting in 2022

CCICED 1st Chief Advisors and Secretariat Joint Working Meeting was held online on April 6, 2022. Mr. Liu Shijin and Mr. Scott Vaughan, the Chief Advisors, Ms. Zhou Guomei, CCICED Deputy Secretary General and Director General of the Department of International Cooperation of Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Ms. Jeanne-Marie Huddleston, CCICED Special Advisor, Director General, Bilateral Affairs and Trade Directorate of Environment and Climate Change Canada, Mr. Zhang Yujun, Director-General of Foreign Environmental Cooperation Center of Ministry of Ecology and Environment, gave opening remarks at the meeting. Mr. Li Yonghong, CCICED Assistant Secretary-General and Deputy Director-General of Foreign Environmental Cooperation Center of Ministry of Ecology and Environment, chaired the meeting.

Representatives from all Special Policy Study Teams and Scoping Study Teams reported the progress of research work and drafting of policy research report. The Chief Advisors affirmed the current research progress of all teams, and looked forward to each team to refine views and polish language, and to put forward high-quality and innovative policy recommendations, for providing scientific decision-making references, as well as laying a solid foundation for policy research work for CCICED Phase VII.

More than 90 participants from CCICED research teams, donors and partners, CCICED Secretariat and its International Support Office attended the meeting.
