The Kick-off Meeting for the Special Policy Study (SPS) on Green Opening-up and South-South Cooperation was held on March 15 in Beijing.

This SPS reviewed China’s progress and achievements in South-South cooperation on environment and development, and identified the needs and challenges of developing countries in climate change response, renewable energy development, and other fields of common concern.

The study also proposed policy recommendations to create a new paradigm for South-South cooperation in the new development stage, drive green and sustainable development through open cooperation, and help developing countries achieve green and inclusive transition.
