The 2025 CCICED Roundtable Held in Chongqing

On April 29-30, the 2025 CCICED Roundtable took place in Chongqing, China. Themed as Green and Low-carbon Transition for a Beautiful Chongqing, the meeting explored efforts in fostering green productivity and establishing a modern industrial system, advancing ecological restoration to strengthen the key ecological barrier in the upper Yangtze River, as well as leveraging digital technologies for ecological governance in mega-cities. After the discussion, delegates also visited Coral Island, an ecology restoration park in Chongqing, and SERES Super Factory, one of China's leading electric vehicle factories.

CCICED Chief Advisors, Council members, Special Advisors, and invited policymakers, experts, partners, as well as representative from Chongqing and international organizations attended the meeting.
