CCICED Secretariat held a joint work meeting with the Chief Advisors on January 28 and April 21 respectively. The two meetings studied CCICED policy research in 2008. Chinese Chief Advisor Shen Guofang and International Chief Advisor Mr. Arthur Hanson, Director of CCICED Secretariat Mr. Guo Jing and Mr. Chris Dagg, Director of CCICED International Office attended the meeting. Representatives of the embassy of donor countries and other partners attended the meeting at the invitation.

The meeting reviewed and discussed the policy research work during 2008-2009, which includes the Task Force on Innovation and Environment-Friendly Society, Task Force on Environment and Health, Task Force on Economic Instrument for Energy Efficiency and the Environment, Task Force on Energy Efficiency and Urban Development, Task Force on Pathways towards Low Carbon Economy in China, Task Force on Sustainable Coal Use and Pollution Control Policy, Task Force on Rural Development and Energy and Environment Policy, and Task Force on Ecosystem Services and Management etc..
