CCICED held a Spring Festival Reception in the evening of Feb.1st, 2010 in Beijing. Secretary General Mr. Zhu Guangyao presented at the reception. The reception was chaired by Vice Secretary General Mr. Xu Qinghua. The Chinese Chief Advisor of the Council, Academician Shen Guofang, CCICED council member, Mr. Dudek, Assistant Secretary General Mr. Guo Jing and over 60 representatives from Canada, Sweden, Germany, France, Britain, the Netherlands, Italy, EU, UNEP, UNDP, UNIDO, EDF as well as MOF, MEP, CBCSD, Tsing Hua University attended the reception.
China Council’s work in 2009 has gained continuous attention and support from senior leaders of Chinese Government, said Secretary General Zhu, and it was also greatly supported by donors and partners both from home and abroad. 2010 is the 4th year of the Phase IV of the Council and the numerous work and events are still to come. Zhu hoped everyone to keep on the concern and support to the Council. Meanwhile, the Council will make more efforts on strengthening partnerships and distributing research findings to widen the influence of the Council.
