Graduated from Anhui College of Agriculture in 1960, Ms. Jiang is a fellow of the International Academy of Wood Science, President of Chinese Association of Forestry, Co-chair of the Board of Trustees of International Network for Bamboo and Rattan (INBAR). She previously served as Assistant and Vice-secretary of the Party Branch of Anhui College of Agriculture; Associate Professor, professor, Vice President and President of Anhui University of Agriculture; President, Professor, Doctoral tutor and Chief Scientist of the Chinese Academy of Forestry; Vice Chair of the Committee for Population, Resources and Environment of the 9th and 10th CPPCC.
