Ms. Wang has worked as Vice Mayor of Zaozhuang City; Vice Director of National Environmental Protection Agency; Vice Minister of the State Environmental Protection Administration; a Member of the 9th CPPCC and a Member of the Standing Committee of the 10th CPPCC; a Member of the Committee of the Population, Resources and Environment of the 9th and 10th CPPCC; a Member of the Executive Committee of the 8th All-China Women's Federation and Vice Chairman of the 9th All-China Women's Federation. She was an executive council member of the 3rd China Oceanic Association in 2003 and Vice Chair of the Executive Council of China Environmental Protection Foundation in 2006. Now she is a Member of the Standing Committee of the 11th NPC, Vice Director of the Committee of Environment and Resource of NPC and full-time Vice Chair of the Central Committee of Chinese Peasants and Workers Democratic Party.
