Mr. Li Keqiang, member of Political Bureau of CCCPC and Vice Premier of the State Council chaired the meeting of the Leading Group on National Pollution Survey in Beijing on August 26. Li stressed that we should deeply carry out the approach on scientific development, taking pollution census as an opportunity to adjust and upgrade industrial structure. He urged more efforts to protect environment, to practically address pre-eminent environmental pollution problems, to boost circular economy, green economy and environmental protection. Further work should be done to facilitate sustainable economic and social development and continuously improve people's living standards and quality, he commented.
