On September 25-27, 2009, CCICED Task Force on Energy Efficiency and Urban Development (Building and Transport Sector) held its last working meeting in Beijing. The meeting was co-chaired by Prof. Jiang Yi, Chinese Co-chair from Tsinghua University and member of Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Ms. Tubiana, International Co-chair from French Institute of Sustainable Development and International Relations. Guo Jing, CCICED Assistant Secretary General attended the meeting. Chinese and international members and representatives of the Task Force also present at the meeting.

　　The Task Force aims at how to improve the energy efficiency in the transport and building sectors in Chinese cities. The Chinese and international members of the Task Force had thorough discussions on the study report and reached consensus. Experts from the ministries including Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and Ministry of Transport also put forward their suggestions. The Task Force will amend the report according to the comments and suggestions and submit the final report to the 2009 Annual General Meeting.
