CCICED Task Force on Energy Efficiency and Environmental Economics for Envirohment held the last working meeting in Beijing on September 10, 2009. Professor Ye Ruqiu, Chinese Co-Chair and consultant of the State Council and Mr. Ernst Ulrich von Weizsäcker, International Co-Chair of the Task Force and Chairman of UNEP Sustainable Resource Commission jointly chaired the meeting. Chinese and international members of the Task Force, Dr. Hanson, the International Chief Advisor and Mr. Guo Jing, Assistant Secretary General of CCICED attended the meeting. The representatives from GTZ, Ministry of Finance, MEP, State Administration of Taxation, Energy Institute of NDRC, Research Institute for Fiscal Science of Ministry of Finance, Policy Research Center for Environment and Economy of MEP, Transportation Science Institute of Ministry of Transportation and other institutes were also present at the meeting.

The meeting reviewed the work of the Task Force. Comments and suggestions on the research report were exchanged. The Task Force will submit its revised report to CCICED 2009 AGM.
