CCICED Task Force on Ecosystem Service and Management Strategy held its third working meeting in Bangkok, Thailand on November 16-21, 2009. Part of the Chinese and international members of the Task Force, members of the Chief Advisor expert supporting team and special experts attended the meeting.

　　Ms. Beate Jessel, International Co-chair of the Task Force, President of Federal Agency for Nature Conservation, Germany, chaired the meeting. Ms. Jessel briefed the meeting the overview of the CCICED 2009 Annual General Meeting. The meeting reviewed the progress since its establishment and discussed in-depth the interaction and relevance of each research component. The meeting also discussed the orientation of its policy recommendations and made detailed arrangement for the work of the next stage.

　　Senior officials of Ministry of Nature Resources and Environment, Thailand met with Chinese and international experts of the Task Force. Chairman of YADFON introduced to the Chinese and international experts the traditional eco management of the Palian river basin. The Chinese and international experts of the Task Force made a visit to Pak Phanang Basin in the south of Thailand.
